California is a very interesting market during these yough times. I have noticed in my brick and morter business, as a consultant to retail, that clients don't want to apear to be struggling at all. They want to continue the lifestyle of the Real Housewives of Orange County, but the pocketbook just won't allow it. It's going to get a little tighter before the money and jobs start flowing again. I think we in the retailing goods and services industry need to brace ourselves for a rough ride. Since the credit
markets are almost at a total freeze, i believe that we will see more business models like mine that are direct to consumer, and not wasteful. No overhead, and no phones or the like.
